The announcement was made during a recent UAE Cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan, where a series of futuristic initiatives—including the creation of a Regulatory Intelligence Office—received approval.
This office will serve as a central platform for tracking, analysing, and shaping laws using AI. It will also link federal and local legislation to judicial rulings, administrative procedures, and public service delivery, ensuring a more connected and responsive legal system.
Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum described the initiative as a step toward a faster, data-backed approach to lawmaking that aligns with global standards. “This new system will track the daily impact of laws on our society and economy,” he stated. “It promises to revolutionise law creation.”
AI as a Co-Legislator: The Global Implications

The AI system will analyse large-scale social and economic data to suggest legislative updates and measure policy outcomes in real-time.
