Tulu Health Unveils WhatsApp-Integrated AI Agent Platform

Tulu Health, a healthtech and fintech startup founded by experts from AIIMS, IIT, and Stanford University, has launched an AI Agent Platform that redefines healthcare access and delivery through cutting-edge AI integration. The launch event, held on April 12, 2025 at Pullman Aerocity, Delhi, marked a significant milestone in India’s growing leadership in Agentic AI.

Designed to streamline the healthcare journey, Tulu’s platform integrates modular AI agents directly into everyday platforms like WhatsApp and hospital websites, removing the need for new apps or complex onboarding. This mobile-optimised, multilingual interface ensures accessibility even for low-digital-literacy populations, enabling instant, AI-guided support for both patients and healthcare providers.

A Dual-Focus Platform: For Providers and Patients

For healthcare providers, Tulu Health’s platform addresses business challenges such as enhancing patient outreach, optimising experience and flow, and enabling continuity of care. Hospitals benefit from real-time data insights, predictive models, and AI-automated workflows, all seamlessly integrated with their digital systems.

For patients, the platform offers AI-powered decision support, real-time financing options, and a unique cashless care pathway covering pre- and post-hospitalisation up to 180 days. Voice-enabled AI agents serve rural users and first-time digital participants, further broadening access.

Built using in-house capabilities and partnerships with global leaders like OpenAI and Anthropic, the platform leverages generative AI, NLP for document parsing, predictive modelling, and deep learning to ensure context-aware, secure, and intelligent support.

Catalysing India’s Agentic AI Momentum

With 80% of enterprises globally exploring autonomous agents, according to Deloitte, India is poised to lead in Agentic AI transformation. Tulu Health is already onboarding state governments, NBFCs, and hospital networks for pilot deployment and is in active discussions with AIIMS, GTB Hospital, and LNJP for wider rollouts.

This launch positions Tulu Health as a strategic partner for healthcare transformation, aligning deeply with India’s digital health goals and the broader vision of inclusive, tech-enabled care.
