Genpact Acquires XponentL to Boost AI Capabilities

Genpact has acquired XponentL Data, a data product and AI solutions firm, to strengthen its AI-first services and accelerate enterprise transformation. The acquisition, which closed on June 5, brings XponentL’s deep expertise in data strategy, engineering, and architecture into Genpact’s growing portfolio of AI capabilities. This move marks a continued investment by Genpact in intelligent operations and end-to-end digital transformation.

Enhancing AI Gigafactory and SaaS offerings

XponentL’s capabilities will be critical in supporting Genpact’s AI Gigafactory and service-as-a-service (SaaS) initiatives. These programs are designed to help clients rapidly adopt and scale AI across their operations. The firm also brings strategic partnerships with major technology platforms such as Databricks, AWS, and Microsoft—further expanding Genpact’s integration capabilities and access to leading-edge tools.

Founder Tom Johnstone will continue to lead the business post-acquisition, ensuring continuity of vision and execution. Genpact emphasized that XponentL’s team will fully integrate into the organization, and all employees will transition under the Genpact umbrella.
