Infosys and Google Cloud Unveil 200+ AI Agents

Infosys has unveiled over 200 enterprise AI agents as part of its Infosys Topaz offerings, in partnership with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform. The move aims to accelerate AI adoption across industries by enabling large-scale, secure, and autonomous agent-based operations.

Enterprise AI agents built for real-world scale

The AI agents have been designed to manage complex workflows and support multi-agent systems, providing enterprises with tools to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and data-driven insights. These agents cover a broad range of sectors including healthcare, finance, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and agriculture.

Each AI agent is equipped with capabilities such as secure communication, multimodal data handling, autonomous execution, and information extraction. For instance, a monitoring agent can assess real-time network capacity and raise alerts to minimize downtime. Finance agents streamline account operations while forecasting agents help manufacturing clients predict demand and optimize production lines.

Driving AI-led transformation through Topaz

The development is part of Infosys’ broader push to enhance Human+AI collaboration. “The launch of more than 200 enterprise AI agents marks a milestone in our efforts to lead in the enterprise AI space,” said Balakrishna D. R. (Bali), Executive Vice President and Global Services Head, AI and Industry Verticals at Infosys. “With Infosys Topaz and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, we are transforming enterprise workflows with speed and intelligence.”

Victor Morales, Vice President, GSI and Consulting Partnerships at Google Cloud, noted that these AI agents built on Vertex AI could help enterprises operate at scale with improved efficiency and responsiveness.

Infosys doubles down on AI agent strategy

This announcement follows Infosys’ launch of its Agentic AI Foundry under the Topaz suite, aimed at helping businesses build and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents quickly and responsibly. The Foundry complements Infosys’ broader generative AI strategy.

As of Q4 FY25, Infosys reported having developed over 200 AI agents and is currently executing more than 400 AI projects for clients globally, underscoring its growing footprint in enterprise AI transformation.
